This week’s episode features details about the extended deadline for Spring Break missions, new calendar stuff, a discussion covering what missed in TV, music, fashion, and food in the new year, and a recording of the sermon delivered by Rev. David Fuquay at the Gator Wesley Center on January 22, 2012.
There is still time to sign up for Spring Break Missions!
We still have room on both of our Spring Break missions trips, so we are extending the deadline to February 1 to sign up and pay your deposit. For details on both trips and to sign up online, click over to our Spring Break Mission Trip page.
Intramurals Beginning! Soccer, Basketball, and Softball
This week begins the intramural season! The first group up is our co-ed rec soccer team on Monday nights at 7pm at Southwest Rec. Starting next week, we have two basketball teams in action. Men’s basetball is Mondays at 6pm, and the co-ed rec team is Tuesdays at 9pm. Later this week, we will have details about softball. To keep up to date on all intramural action, join our intramural Facebook group (link). Within that group, each sport will have its own event for coordination and communication. Check out the soccer (link) and basketball (link) events. To sign up for our intramural teams, you must go through UF’s intramural page- if you have questions about how to do that, talk to Matt or Brandon or post on the wall of the Facebook group.

Am I Called to Ministry?
One of our roles as a United Methodist campus ministry is to develop leaders. Part of that role involves helping students explore whether they might be called into ministry. The Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church has put together a new website for people who want to learn more. Check it out at: http://www.mycallfl.org/
